Doretha Jackson
Doretha Jackson is the Faith Based/Family Involvement Coordinator for the Florida PIRC (Parent Information and Resource Center) of FND (Family Network on Disabilities). She retired from Pinellas County Schools as Supervisor of Family & Community Relations after a thirty-five year career. Prior to that position she was a parent advocate and school psychologist. Her FAPE committees have included Legislative, Conference, and Training prior to being elected President Elect and then President. She continued her active participation in FAPE as president elect, bringing in financial resources and serving as a lead trainer for the FAPE Academy. Doretha calls Sneads, Fl. home but presently lives in St. Petersburg.Her daughter, Miracle, is an attorney in Atlanta. She is married to Wallace who has supported her leadership in FAPE.
